About Inflection Technology:

Inflection Technology, LLC is a private company located in downtown Columbus, Ohio. We have been providing IT solutions to businesses since 1999.

We specialize in implementing GIS using ESRI products such as ArcGIS 9 and the competing Metamap and GeoMedia platforms. The integration of GIS into existing IT systems can be quite difficult and occasionally requires software "glue" to put the parts together.

We develop the glue.

This integration could be in the form of VBA, C++, .NET, or PHP. Our experience spans the commercial product spectrum as well as the open-source arena. We have implemented several commercial quality solutions using open-source systems comprising of Linux, Apache, and PHP.

Inflection Technology was started by Mr. Rajadhyaksha, a former software developer at Netscape Communications Corporation. His software development experience includes work on several commercial products including Netscape Navigator and FWB Hard Disk Toolkit for the Macintosh.

About Our Work:

Starbak Communications Inflection was contracted by a leading startup in the video conferencing industry for systems programming. The tasks included developing MPEG-2 and QuickTime packetizers for a hardware-based streaming video server. The product is capable of serving video to QuickTime, Windows Media, RealPlayer, and hardware cable box units. Starbak chose Inflection due to the specialized and difficult nature of the systems programming and our experience with systems engineering on Linux.
DLZ Corporation DLZ is the largest professional engineering consulting firm based in the State of Ohio. Ranked in the ENR Top 100 firms based on revenue, DLZ has relied on Inflection to provide GIS and IT consulting for several years. Inflection has developed several GIS components, including web-based geo-referenced databases and custom field data collector applications.
(Various) Open Source Development Inflection Technology is one of very few consultants that can show actual work in the Open Source community. We supported the development of MacCVS Pro, an essential software development tool for the MacOS, used by Netscape to develop the Navigator browser on the Macintosh. We provide the only LDAP plug-in for the Microsoft Internet Information Server. This module allows system managers to integrate IIS authentication with LDAP directories. We have extensive experience in creating commercial solutions using GPL/open-source software. Our systems programming experience far outperforms the traditional generalized IT consultant.
